Hole 9 Description
Hole 9 returns you to the clubhouse, but first you have to play it. From the tee the hole looks deceptively easy because you can’t see the water protecting the green. A generous driving area straightaway sets you up for a challenging second shot. Do you go for the green over the water or play to the right and hope for a great pitch shot and one putt for a par? Either way the excitement doesn’t end once you are on the green and beware of going long because shots from the back bunkers are intimidating. As if the water isn’t enough of a challenge, the dramatic two-tier green provides the biggest challenge on this straightaway par 4. If you are on the wrong level, two-putting is difficult, and even if you are on the correct level, the sloping green makes putting exciting. Warning…regardless of which level the pin is on, don’t be above the hole!!.
